New shooters are always welcomed into our leagues and will gain a world of experience shooting a great variety of target presentations. Many targets will be difficult but there’ll also be a lot of easy ones, you can bet that they will all test your abilities and certainly make you a better shooter by fall.
Shooters compete for Champion of the 10 weeks of competing, and again for Champion of the 1 day 100 target Finale. Side game options also will be offered at the Championship Finale. All Champions will have their pictures placed in Clubhouse Plaques for a period of one year and be featured on our web pages.
One free 100 bird round of shooting at the Championship Finale will be given to all shooters with a perfect attendance record of 10 weeks.
League members will shoot a different 50 target course each week for the low price of $13 With an additional $2 being paid into a “league kitty”. League shooters also enjoy and added bonus of re-shooting the existing league courses for only $12. (Re-shooting course is not counted as league scoring)
Shooters must shoot at least 8 weeks of the 10 weeks to qualify for awards. You can miss two weeks. At the end of the league, your 2 lowest scores will be dropped. Missed weeks are considered zero and are dropped as low scores. This adjusted score of 400 targets will determine our champion. Ties are determined by shoot off at the Finale Championship.
At the League Finale Championship, depending on the number of shooters, there will be lucky drawings, which will include cash prizes, shotgun shells and merchandise. (this is from the $2 weekly “League Kitty” fee) Any one that participates in the league, shooting a minimum of 8 weeks, can win. For each week a league member shoots they will receive one ticket for prize drawing at the finale. League members must shoot in the league finale and be present at the drawing to win any merchandise prizes but need not be present for the cash prizes. Only one prize per shooter.
Nearly all the league courses have a life span of 3 weeks so you will be able to shoot back 3 weeks for almost the entire league. You could shoot the entire 10 weeks in 3 to 4 visits to our course, which will be helpful to those that have a long drive.
